I’m trying to learn some Kanji while I’m here, so I decided to take pictures of more or less useful things to understand.
The first one is good to know in case of a fire or other emergency in a building. It’s an “evacuation passageway”:
- 避難(ひなん): refuge, shelter, evacuation (the first kanji means “avoid”, the second one “trouble”)
- 通路(つうろ): passageway, corridor (the first kanji means “pass through”, the second one “road, path”)
